 Christina Downey WHNP-BC is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. Christina obtained her bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan in brain behavior and cognitive science. She then completed her nurse practitioner studies with a Master of Science in Nursing at Loyola University of Chicago and practiced as a labor and delivery nurse for eight years.
Christina is trained to provide general obstetric and gynecologic care including annual well-woman visits, STD screening, contraceptive counseling, prenatal care, and postpartum care. Christina is passionate about providing preventative, patient centered healthcare and enjoys optimizing the physical, social, and emotional health of women of all ages. She is an active member of the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health organization.
Christina lives in Chicago and enjoys traveling, live music and spending time with her family.
