The Women’s Group of Northwestern delivers the highest standard of care to the women they serve, which includes multiple generations within the same families. The board-certified physicians specialize in obstetrics and gynecology and manage all the health needs throughout every stage of a woman’s life, from her first gynecological exam, through pregnancy, menopause, and beyond.

Please welcome Dr. Radmila Kirkpatrick, D.O. to our practice!
|
|
|
|
Radmila Kirkpatrick, D.O. completed her residency training at Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. During that time, she was recognized by Midwestern University for her devotion to teaching medical students. Dr. Kirkpatrick continued to work at Ascension Resurrection for the last 2 years where she was core faculty for the residency program. She earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Ga.
She has extensive training in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic and laparoscopic approaches to gynecologic surgery. Dr. Kirkpatrick’s passion for giving back to her community has led her to pursue a career staying actively engaged with community health. She is committed to providing compassionate and holistic care to all her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with her family.

Please welcome Lauren Heitman, MSN, WHNP-BC to the WGON Team!

|
|
Lauren Heitman, MSN, WHNP-BC is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. Lauren obtained her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Science of nursing. She practiced as a registered nurse in the postpartum unit at Northwestern Medicine. She completed her nurse practitioner studies with a Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University.
Lauren is trained to provide general obstetric and gynecological care including annual well-woman visits, STI screening, contraceptive counseling, prenatal care, and postpartum care. Lauren is passionate about providing preventative, patient centered healthcare and enjoys optimizing the physical, social, and emotional health of women of all ages. She is an active member of the Nurse Practitioners in the Women’s Health Organization.
Lauren lives in Chicago and enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, friends, and kittens. She enjoys traveling, cooking, crafting, and exercising.

Please welcome Dr. Dana Al-Khaled, M.D. to our practice!

|
|
Dana Al-Khaled, M.D. is a Chicagoland area native. She graduated from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed residency at The University of Chicago. Over the last year, she has focused her career on the inpatient side of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is now joining the Women’s Group of Northwestern as a full-time hospitalist. “My goal is to empower women to make educated decisions about their health care. I’m excited to join the physicians of The Women’s Group of Northwestern and be a part of the Northwestern Medicine community.”
Her interests include high risk obstetrics, health disparities and patient advocacy, and medical education.
Dr. Al-Khaled serves on the Feinberg School of Medicine LCME Quality Committee, and the Illinois State Quality Committee for Maternal Health. Her career interests include medical education, healthcare disparities and advocacy, and global/community women’s health.

We’ve transitioned to a new EMR and patient portal
|
|
|
We are very excited to announce the implementation of Athena, our new EMR and patient portal. The patient portal is a secure feature of The Women’s Group of Northwestern’s online system, Athena Health, which allows the patient to keep track of their own health information. The portal stores all The Women’s Group of Northwestern’s medical encounters, orders, and test results. It also has a messaging system which allows patients and staff to communicate. All patients are required to register for the patient portal.

Dr. Levitt and Dr. Kamel are certified and trained in Botox, Juvéderm and Latisse administration. Botox diminishes wrinkles safely using the most effective technology in a comfortable atmosphere. Juvéderm is a filler used for Facial Volume. Dermal fillers restore volume and fullness to the face, including the cheeks and lips. We also offer Latisse, a prescription solution used to improve the fullness and appearance of eyelashes.

The Women’s Group of Northwestern Onsite Operating Room for Outpatient Surgeries

|
The Women's Group of Northwestern can perform minor surgical procedures safely in our office with mobile anesthesia. We offer surgical procedures to manage abnormal pap smears, contraception, or abnormal uterine bleeding in the office setting.

Our Northbrook location recently had its sixth-year anniversary and continues to thrive. Our office is conveniently located near the lake cook Edens ramp. We always have two to three providers available daily with ultrasound services, lab visits, colposcopy and NST’s also provided. Free on-site parking.
