Appointments

Unless it is an emergency, we see patients by appointment only. Appointments may be made by calling the appointment desk at (312) 440-3810. With two offices to serve you, the appointment desk will try to arrange your visit at a time and an office most convenient for you. As a courtesy to us, if you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that another patient may utilize the appointment time.

You do not have to be referred by another doctor to make an appointment. In fact, many of our patients are sent to us by others we have cared for in the past. However, some prepaid health plans require that you get a referral from your assigned primary care physician to qualify for reimbursement. Please check with your health insurance plan before scheduling an appointment with one of our physicians to ensure that our group can provide your care. Also, please note that not all insurance plans will cover “well women” heath care, in which case, you will be responsible for payment of services rendered to you.

We understand that the relationship between you and your physician is very important. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the physician you have chosen, please let us know. We will make every effort to help you select a physician who may be more compatible with your needs.

Appointment cancellation

Appointments not cancelled within a 24 hour notice will be subject to a fee. If you need to cancel an appointment after hours please call our office at (312) 440-3810 and leave a voice message.

Contacting us

During normal business hours, your doctor may be at the hospital, in surgery, or in one of our two office locations. Our trained support staff will direct your call or message to her or the appropriate personnel.

If your call is an emergency, please state so immediately.

After normal office hours, your call will be forwarded and answered by our answering service. In the event of an emergency your message will be forwarded to the physician on call who will call you back as soon as possible. If your condition is non-emergent, you have non-emergent questions or you need a prescription refill, please call during normal business hours. Our  on-call physicians cannot attend to non-emergency situations after normal business hours. In addition, we will not refill non-emergent prescriptions of any kind after office hours.
